A substantial copper bracelet that stands out on it's own or combined with other bracelets. The contrast between the smooth round shape of the bracelet and the angles of the rectangular tube "crown" adds a modern geometric impact. The bracelet is made out of 4mm or 6.5 gauge round copper wire that I soldered and shaped into a circle. The rectangular brass tube is also 4mm and is soldered onto the copper. I have given the bracelet an antiqued look by oxidizing it, then given it a slight polish. If you want a polished copper finish, please let me know. The copper and brass will have a higher contrast. Inner diameter of the bracelet (very close approximate) : small: 2 3/8 inches medium: 2 5/8 inches If you need a bigger size, that can be done. Just let me know. -
The banana leaf - a symbol of resourcefulness due to it's many uses. This sterling silver banana leaf was carved out of wax and cast. Then I carefully shaped it to a curve and soldered the hand made "arm extensions" to make a modern cuff. Looks great worn alone or stacked with other bracelets. It is adjustable to fit most wrists. -

Each brass spike is hand hammered into shape and assembled on an 18 gauge/1 mm brass wire with hand cut hexagon brass tubes as spacers. It is then plated in three layers of 24k gold or rose gold. I offer three varieties of necklaces: dark brown suede cord; black or dark brown waxed cotton cord that is braided with macrame knots. All are finished with a handmade brass button that allows the necklace to be adjustable in length from 16 inches to about 26 inches. The actual color of the 24k gold plated spikes is more of an antiqued gold color--sort of in between a yellow and rose gold. This part of the necklace is 3.5 inches or 90mm long. This is a made to order piece. Please allow 10 business days for delivery. I had skyscrapers in mind when I made this pendant. With the "towers" standing on their own , thereby creating interest with the negative space in between them and the circle. The circle is approximately 1 inch in diameter and made of sterling silver in a matte finish. The towers are brass. I love how the brass came out of the pickling process with tinges of copper, giving it an antiqued look. As with anything handmade, each piece will vary slightly in patina and tower height. It comes with a sterling silver chain that is adjustable from 16-18 inches. -
